Founded by John J. Connell over 90 years ago to address the material handling equipment needs in St. Louis, MO, Connell Material Handling became the region's inaugural distributorship in 1929. John's commitment and integrity set the stage. In 1973, the company transitioned to his son-in-law, Norman P. Turek, who sustained its legacy. After 13 years, Jack Turek assumed leadership, and in 2009, the 4th generation, John Turek, joined. By 2018, he took on the role of President. In 2021, John acquired the company from Jack after 35 years of ownership. Upholding family values, Connell Material Handling serves St. Louis, Springfield, MO, North Kansas City, MO, and Memphis, TN.
